The GridForge source code, examples, and documentation in this repository are licensed under the terms of the MIT License unless otherwise noted.

Third-Party Software¶

GridForge depends on third-party Python packages, including PYPOWER, CVXPY, pandas, NumPy, and related tools. Those projects remain under their own licenses.

GridForge can load PYPOWER-style and MATPOWER-style case files. External case files and datasets remain under the licenses and terms provided by their authors or distributors.

Third-Party Data¶

The optional TX-123BT workflow references public TX-123BT data. Users should review and follow the license, citation, and redistribution requirements of that dataset before using or redistributing derived data.

Generated Files¶

Files generated by GridForge, such as Excel workbooks and case-specific bus_<BUS_IDX>.csv files, may contain data derived from user-provided inputs or third-party datasets.

Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to use and redistribute their input data and generated outputs.
